Button Long Handle Limit Switch is an automatic control component triggered by mechanical motion. Its core function is to detect the displacement or stroke of an object to achieve the opening and closing of circuits, the start and stop of equipment, or limit protection. It is an indispensable 'safety sentinel' and 'action commander' in industrial automation and electromechanical equipment.
Switch Introduction
The travel switch (also known as a limit switch) is an automatic control component triggered by mechanical motion. Its core function is to detect the displacement or stroke of an object to achieve the opening and closing of circuits, the start and stop of equipment, or limit protection. It is an indispensable 'safety sentinel' and 'action commander' in industrial automation and electromechanical equipment.
Switch Application
In the automobile welding production line, limit switches are used to detect whether the vehicle body is accurately positioned at the welding station. When the vehicle body passes through the conveyor roller track and reaches the specified position, it triggers the switch. The tooling fixture automatically clamps the vehicle body, allowing the welding robot to start the welding operations; within the vehicle door, the switch checks if the door is completely closed. If the door is not properly secured, a warning light on the dashboard will illuminate, and some vehicle models may also emit an alarm sound.
At the charging gun interface of electric vehicles, miniature limit switches are also installed. When the charging gun is fully inserted into the vehicle's charging port, the switch is activated. After confirming that the connection is secure, the charging system begins to supply power, preventing poor contact during charging that could lead to arcing or power outages.
