As a national high-tech enterprise, Yueqing Tongda listed the AC Rocker Switch as a core strategic product as early as 2010 and established a special R&D team based on 94 patented technology reserves. Aiming at the industry problems of "easy oxidation of contacts and weak protection capability" of traditional switches, the team has achieved three major technological breakthroughs: the contacts adopt a silver-tin alloy vacuum welding process, reducing the contact resistance to less than 5mΩ, which can stably carry 16A-32A AC current, and the electrical service life exceeds 200,000 times, far surpassing the industry's conventional standard of 100,000 times; the shell innovatively uses flame-retardant PA66 material and a double-layer sealing structure, reaching IP67 protection level; it integrates a dual-color LED indicator light to realize visual monitoring of operating status. These upgrades have been applied in multiple scenarios: the 32A high-load model customized for an auto parts factory adapts to the high-frequency on-off needs of welding equipment and has operated continuously for 2 years without failures; the indicator-equipped model developed for a smart home brand, when embedded in a smart distribution box, allows users to intuitively judge whether the circuit is overloaded through the light.
Quality control runs through the entire production process. In the raw material link, each batch of silver-tin alloy contacts undergoes spectral testing; in the production link, 80 precision punch presses and fully automated assembly lines ensure that the component error is ≤ 0.02mm; in the finished product link, each switch must complete 200,000 pressing tests, 72-hour high-low temperature cycle tests, and insulation resistance tests, with a qualification rate of 100%. Previously, the IP67 protection model customized for an offshore platform has been used continuously for 3 years in a high-salt spray environment and still maintains stable on-off performance. Currently, the product has passed three major certifications: UL, VDE, and CQC, and has become a long-term supplier for enterprises such as Midea and Chint, with an annual sales volume exceeding 2 million units, sold well in European and American markets.
